The Pink Panther Show (1969) follows the stylish, silent, and endlessly inventive Pink Panther as he drifts through a series of comedic misadventures. Each episode places him in surreal or unpredictable situations, where he relies on wit, visual humor, and a touch of mischief to outsmart rivals and navigate everyday chaos. Blending the Panther’s iconic minimalist style with musical timing and additional classic characters from the DePatie‑Freleng studio, the series cemented the Pink Panther as one of animation’s most distinctive and enduring figures.

At a building site, the Pink Panther finds a blueprint for the construction of a generic home and replaces it with a pink-colored plan for an ultra-modern house. When the little man on the building site rejects the Pink Panther's pink blueprint and continues his original project, the panther decides to construct his preferred house on the same site, using the man's materials.

The historical memory of torture, persecution and killings of homosexuals and lesbians in Spain during Franco's dictatorship provides an opportunity to tell about discrimination and homophobia in the rest of the world. Those who lived through that period recall times when being gay was a crime and the Church was completely indifferent; even the movie (and the fashion) world turned their backs. Today Spain is actually a model for enlightened social attitudes and for the freedoms achieved by the GLBT community. So it is important to remind the young of the high price paid by the older generations. One of the directors of the film, Enrique del Pozo, is a singer and actor who is openly bisexual and very famous in Spain.
